One of the reasons for having this online shop/site is to encourage others to experience the joy of upcycling and making art too. So for starters here's an easy creative idea for making your own DIY bag using a pillow and two belts. My belts chosen were soft utilitarian cotton fabric so that made for comfortable hanging on the shoulders as well as easy machine stitching.
This oversized tote is made from a super soft aztec pattern fabric pillowcase. Great size to throw in all of your beach goodies and towel. If you know a basic stitch you can create a lining and stitch inside and then add the belts for handles. DO IT! I DARE YOU. LOVE YOU ALL!
